How to Rent a Euro NCAP Car
- 1). Decide what make and size of car you wish to rent depending on the size of your group and budget, and search the Internet for car rental agencies in the country where you wish to hire the vehicle.
- 2). Check with the chosen agency what Euro NCAP safety rating your car has been awarded in each specific safety category.
- 3). Note that cars released before 2009 were awarded one to five stars by Euro NCAP in three categories: adult protection, child occupant and pedestrian protection. Since 2009, vehicles are simply given an overall rating out of five.
- 4). Confirm the ratings by visiting the official Euro NCAP website and entering the make and model into the site's search engine. View the results and decide if the safety rating is sufficient for your requirements and peace of mind.
- 5). Reserve your selected car via the agency website or telephone booking system.
- 6). Visit the car pickup point, present your driver's license, pay the deposit, sign the relevant paperwork and collect the keys.
