How to Adjust the Wristband for a Fossil Watch
- 1). Put the watch on your wrist and close the clasp. Pinch the watch band. The number of links that you hold in the pinch is the number of links that need to be removed.
- 2). Place the watch face down. Look for the removable links with arrows etched into the underside of the watchband. Push a pin into the holes on the side of the watch link in the direction that the arrows are pointing. Pull the protruding end of the holding pin out of the other side with needle-nose pliers. Do the same for the other holding pin on the link. Slide the link off the watchband. Remove as many links as necessary. Try to take equal numbers off both sides of the band to keep the fit even.
- 3). Realign the ends of the watchband. Push the holding pins in the holes on the side of the links. Try the watch on to test the fit.
