Hannah Montana Paint Ideas
- Hannah Montana, the TV alter-ego of entertainer Miley Cyrus, is popular among teen and pre-teen girls. Because of her celebrity status, many young fans display Hannah Montana merchandise in their bedrooms, and a popular theme centers on unique paint ideas. Some very popular colors on the Hannah Montana color palette are navy, aqua, sky blue, shades of bright and light pink, spring green, light yellow and peach.
- Choose colors for your daughter's bedding and curtains, then paint the walls a contrasting color. For instance, navy bedding and curtains would go well with pink or lavender walls, while bright pink accents pair well with bright green or aqua walls. Use the same idea to contrast molding and wall colors and paint her furniture a third contrasting color. Pit warm and cool colors against each other; if you use cool on the walls, use warm on the furniture and accents.
- If your daughter's room has a chair rail, paint it and the molding white and paint a dark color below the chair rail. Above the chair rail, paint a lighter hue of the same color. This especially effective with shades of blue and green. You could alternate colors on different walls, painting two walls one shade and two walls a lighter or darker shade. If the first wall color you choose is dark, pick a lighter shade for the other two walls and vice versa.
Use the same color scheme to make broad vertical stripes on the walls. Put painter's tape on the wall at even intervals and alternate fuchsia and lighter pink or purple and lavender. Decorate the rest of the room in colors that contrast with the walls. - Hannah Montana motifs often include butterflies and small birds in flight. Find stencils along these themes and paint your walls one color, either light or dark. Help your daughter stencil birds and butterflies along the top molding, in spirals and in curving waves all over her walls. You can either use a different shade of the same color for your stencils or use a contrasting color. Choose between making all of your birds and butterflies the same color, using different colors for different species, or making them all different colors from one another. Let your daughter have heavy input in these choices.
