Wherever you turn your head, you see stressed people that are trying to do the best for their families, their children.
So many responsibilities in such a difficult time, time when so much is expected from ordinary person that live in constant fear of losing his or her job, cannot result with being always calm and patient.
Kids are just kids and their job is to put you to test, to see how far they can go.
Being a parent is the most difficult job on earth but spanking a child is never the answer.
If you were anything like me, you would think that the biggest problem is to give a birth to a child.
But you never know until you try it, right? Giving birth is the easiest part.
Problems came after that when you here your small child talking exactly as you, behaving exactly as you and you do not like it.
You think it is inappropriate.
Children imitate their parents and that is a fact.
Parents are role models to their children.
That is why being a parent is the most difficult job.
You need to be in control of your emotions, behavior and everything you do most of the time, for the case of your children.
If you spank your children and jell on them when your older child disciplines his younger brother or sister by spanking, then you see the real consequences of your actions.
Some parents realize that they are making a big mistake after that.
You should not spank your children at all, in any circumstances.
First, if we are talking about small children, they are small and do not realize what is right and what is wrong so it is just not fair.
You need a lot of patience to discipline small children because they tempt their parents most of the time.
But if you are determined to do so without spanking, later when they get older you will have children that are well behaved.
They will develop methods to control their anger for the right reasons and not for the reason of being afraid.
Parents too, will develop skills to talk to the child and solve the tantrum problems without spanking, so later on they will have a good communication between them and that will make easier those teenage years to both sides.
Every person should try to live by this simple rule: don't do things to others that you would not like someone to do to you.
If you do not like to be spanked when you do something wrong, than do not do that to your child even if they are small and do not know anything.
Moreover, know this, if you have spanked your child ones or twice, be sure that they will remember it forever, even if you are patient most of the time and show them lots of love and gentleness.
Be aware that you are raising them to be the parents one day and that they will discipline their children the only way they know.
Love your children, be patient with them and do not spank them ever.
Also, do not torture yourself with being perfect parent because that does not exist.
Loosing your temper, raising your voice will just show your children that you are a human.
You can always talk to them about those things but spanking is just harmful to children and does not give any results.
