Camera instructions

• 1). Plug your CF card into your camera's memory slot.
  
  
• 2). Press the "Menu" button on your camera.
  
  
• 3). Scroll down the menu until you reach an option labeled "Format" or "Format CF Card." Select the option to format your card. When the menu screen returns, your card will be formatted.
  
  

PC instructions

• 1). Plug your CF card into your CF card reader. Wait for your computer to recognize the drive.
  
  
• 2). Click on the Start menu and then click on Computer
  
  
• 3). From the window that pops up, right-click on your CF card.
  
  
• 4). Select "Format" from the pop-up menu.
  
  
• 5). Select the format type you would like -- either Fat32 or NTFS -- and click "Start" to format your card.
  
  

Mac instructions

• 1). Plug your CF card into your card reader.
  
  
• 2). Open the Go menu and select Utilities.
  
  
• 3). Double-click on "Disk Utility" from the Utilities menu.
  
  
• 4). Highlight your CF card from the menu and click the Erase button.
  
  
• 5). Select the format type your would like for your card and click "Erase" to format it.
