• The Dell Streak measures 6 inches tall, 3.1 inches wide and 0.4 inches thick at its thickest point. It weighs 7.05 oz. before optional upgrades and accessories. The Dell Thunder is smaller and lighter, measuring 4.76 inches tall, 2.52 inches wide and 0.51 inches thick at its thickest point. It weighs 5.78 oz. prior to optional upgrades and accessories. A rechargeable 1,530-mAh lithium-ion battery provides on-board power to the Streak. A slightly smaller rechargeable 1,400-mAh lithium-ion battery provides on-board power to the Thunder.
  
  

Displays and Cameras

• The Streak features a 5-inch TFT capacitive touch-screen display with a native resolution of 480-by-800 pixels, multitouch input, a proximity sensor, accelerometer and Gorilla Glass. The Thunder features a 4.1-inch AMOLED capacitive touch-screen display with a native resolution of 480-by-800 pixels, Dell Stage U.I., multitouch input, a proximity sensor, accelerometer and Gorilla Glass.
  
  Dell outfits the Streak with a pair of digital cameras. The device's primary camera is rear-facing and features a 5-megapixel sensor, autofocus, dual LED flash, geo-tagging and 720p video-recording functionality. Its secondary camera is front-facing and intended primarily for video calling. Dell outfits the Thunder with a single rear-facing camera with an 8-megapixel sensor, autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging and 720p video-recording functionality.
  
  

Connectivity

• The Streak and Thunder are identical in terms of their connectivity capabilities. Both devices work on 2G and 3G cellular network technology and can transfer data over HSDPA technology at rates up to 7.2 Mbps. Integrated messaging capabilities on both devices include threaded view SMS, MMS, mobile email and instant messaging. Dell outfits both the Streak and Thunder with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities as well.
  
  

Additional Information

• At the Streak's release, Dell sold it equipped with Google's Android 1.6 operating system, while the Thunder came with the Android 2.2 operating system. Both devices are powered by 1GHz Scorpion processors paired with Adreno 200 graphical processing chips. Both devices also have integrated HTML-browsing and GPS support. The Streak and Thunder connect to computers via USB 2.0 ports.
