Dare County Regional Airport

• Dare County Regional Airport is a public airport one mile northwest of the Outer Banks' central business district. The airport, which covers 340 acres and features two runways, offers a museum of the history of aviation in the Outer Banks and is adjacent to the North Carolina Aquarium. Private air travel is offered by the airport through Linear Air.

First Flight Airport

• First Flight Airport is a general aviation airport famous for being the site of the pre-flight gliding experiments of the Wright Brothers. The Wright Brothers National Museum is on airport grounds. First Flight's double runway averages 104 flights a day. Used mostly for general aviation, it also offers air taxi services.
