How to Put a Background Color in Photo Albums

    • 1). Open the clear plastic sleeve of your photo album and remove all the pictures from the page you will work with. Set them aside so that they do not suffer damage.

    • 2). Place a piece of colored paper on the inside of the photo album plastic. Center it on the page to give it a more professional look. Ensure the paper fits and remove it from the photo album.

    • 3). Place four globs of sticky tack on the back corners of your photos. Sticky tack is a clay-like adhesive you can use to hold pictures to the colored paper without staining your photos. Sticky tack is easier to remove than tape, so you can easily change the colored paper later if you choose.

    • 4). Press the photo to the colored paper to secure it in place (ensure your photo is centered on the paper). Pull the plastic sleeve back over the photos and secure it in place.
