Yemen Drone Strikes Make the News Again

Okay so, nothing too new in the war against terrorists, just another good hit on some evil doer bad guys threatening our interests abroad and Americans at home.
This time six bad guys are no longer, and surely there will be more to follow.
If the American people seem to be getting media fatigue these days, it's probably because they are tired of the overreaction coming from the White House and media every time some two-bit terrorist makes some crazy online statement or threat.
The evidence that they made a threat is credible, but their ability to carry out an attack on US soil, considering our intelligence network is not so credible.
Nevertheless the Washington Post had an interesting article on August 7, 2013 titled; "Obama administration authorized recent drone strikes in Yemen," by Greg Miller, Anne Gearan and Sudarsan Raghavan.
Now then, may I ask why we need to alert the media each time we wish to re-start drone strikes in another region against terrorists who are re-grouping and plotting, planning, and making threats in digital mediums? Look, here is how I see it; "if the military, administration, CIA, or our team is needing to do a drone strike in Yemen against terrorists, then just do it.
" And, I dare to ask; was what all of this so-called "credible intelligence" was about? Are we just digging up obscure threats made on some BS chat line, email, phone intercept as justification? We are justified in taking the fight to the enemy and pre-empting those who want to kill Americans, and we don't need a global media circus to do what's right on this.
As I see it, there was nothing new in that intelligence piece that we haven't heard before.
The leadership of Al Qaeda said the US needs to completely leave all Middle Eastern and African nations with no military or diplomatic presence, otherwise they will attack us, but we already know how they feel about this, and we aren't leaving so they will continue to attack - nothing new there.
If the Obama is worried about what fellow Arabs will think of him doing drone strikes, thus, needs global justification in the media to satisfy left-leaning anti-war folks here at home who are against drone strikes or nearby Muslims in surrounding areas, then we will spend endless time and money, PR tools and overuse the media to get anything done.
Plus, we scare businesses, trading partners, and tourists.
We hurt airlines, hotels, and corporations, many are US based.
It's about time they went after the terrorists and pre-empted them in Yemen if we are ever to defeat these groups for the betterment of humanity.
That's how it is to be done in the real world, so let's just get busy and eliminate all of the terrorists, without all the fanfare.
We are justified, we don't need permission from anyone, or a PR campaign and scare tactics to prove ourselves in the right.
Sincerely, Lance.
