How to Look for a Class in Computer Repair
- 1). Call the high school you attended to ask if they have adult education classes in computer repair. Many high schools around the country hold night and weekend classes for adults who wish to further their educations and train for new careers.
- 2). Look up the phone numbers and websites of community colleges in your area. Community colleges are excellent resources for learning all kinds of job skills, including computer repair. Contact the admissions department of the community college to get details about the content of the classes, as well as class times, durations and costs.
- 3). Check your local newspaper for computer repair classes. Many local newspaper classified sections have a section dedicated to computers, and schools will sometimes advertise upcoming classes that way. Many schools also purchase larger ads in the business and local sections of the newspaper.
- 4). Join a computer club in your area. Computer clubs are excellent resources for learning about computer repair, and for connecting with others who are advancing their skills. The other members of the club might have some good recommendations about the best computer repair training classes.
