Everyone you know would have at some point in their life went through a period where they tried to exercise a lot and eat really healthy all in an attempt to get a six pack.
But, how many people in the world actually have a six pack? Not many.
This brings the conclusion that most people didn't stick their health plan and just gave up after a time.
To keep you from doing the same, I'm going to talk you through a my top tips on how to stay motivated to lose stomach fat.
- Have the goal in your mind.
Think to yourself, "six pack, six pack, I want a six pack!" If you really want it, go out and get it.
Also, when you do get your six pack, your life will be better because you will have better self esteem so you will have a more positive attitude to life.
- Just think, you are stuck with your body your whole life.
You can't escape it.
You are trapped in it.
It's up to you to change it.
- Look through some magazines with celebrities and stare at them.
They have six packs, they have toned muscles, don't you want to be like that too? BEWARE: Don't become jealous of them, it will hurt your self esteem and make you really sad.
- When you're exercising, pretend a celebrity or someone you really admire is with you.
Have conversations with them in your head.
- Exercise with a real person, such as a friend or family friend even though this isn't always possible.
- Watch an inspiring movie where someone works hard to achieve something, such as "The Karate Kid.
" - Listen to inspiring music that get you up and moving.
TIP: Get "Jessica Watson- Songs from the Pink Lady" because apparently the songs on it inspired Jessica to complete her journey around the world and it might as well inspire you to get your six pack.
- If you are a kid doing this, get your parents to reward you for exercising.
When I was little, I was paid 20 cents for every set of 20 push ups I did and 15 cents for every set of 30 V-Ups (an abs exercise) I did.
After a week, I had 10 dollars.
- Join a Group Fitness Class at the Gym! You get to exercise in a fun environment with inspirational music with other people; so it basically combines all the other "motivation" tips together.
Good Luck! And remember: Don't Quit No Matter What!
