Night and Day (Jesse Stone) By Robert B. Parker - Book Review
Police chief Jesse Stone comes back with a fresh new case to solve, some crazy characters to deal with and a full load of action and suspense.
When he gets a call about the principal Betsy Ingersoll doing some lewd actions done to the students, Chief Jesse Stone is motivated to see the principal punished.
However, Betsy Ingersoll is more immune to the police than Stone thought.
It turns out Betsy Ingersoll is the wife of Jay Ingersoll, the managing partner of the biggest firm in the state.
And it has been known that whatever Jay Ingersoll wants, he gets.
And he wants his wife's case buried and forgotten forever.
Meanwhile, another problem poses for Stone as reports of a Peeping Tom comes in.
At first, all he does is peep, but as he gets more excited, his acts get more serious and he starts coming into people's houses and forces them to strip at gunpoint.
The Night Hawk as he calls himself gets more and more dangerous throughout the story, but Parker guides us as the story progresses.
The novel offers a full walk through that readers will enjoy and the overall plot is OK.
Robert Parker's throw of dialogs and the structure of the plot are back like how readers loved them in the earlier series.
Night and Day by Robert Parker is hopefully going to be another best-seller.
Like his previous novels, I've also enjoyed Night and Day a lot.
It was actually difficult for me to put it down because of a lot of things going.
You're pulled inside the story and you're made a part of it.
Robert Parker doesn't settle for less than electrifying and exciting plot which put the readers at the edge of their seats.
