Is there really any need to travel all the way to Spain to learn Spanish? The answer to that question is of course not.

When you take a vacation, go to Spain and enjoy the beautiful county.
You will enjoy the wonderful people of Spain and how friendly they are.
The reason to go to Spain is so that while you learn the language you can enjoy yourself as well.
Lets mention something here about the language.
The Spanish you learn in Spain is not necessarily the same as the one you will hear in Mexico for instance.
It may not be the same as the one you are taught in school or that you pick up from a book.
There are various dialects of Spanish.
If you go to a big, famous, and very popular tourist location like Madrid, you will find a lot of English spoken there.
In fact they speak various languages so that will not help you to learn Spanish.
What you need to do in go to a place where mostly Spanish is spoken.
This will force you to communicate in Spanish.
Another good move is to get a guide that does not speak in your language.
Don't forget to take a good dictionary with you so you can translate from your language to Spanish.
The idea here is to have something to fall back on in case you get in a bind.
When you vacation trip is over you will have learned a new language and had a great time learning it and acquire a bit of culture as well.
When you return from your vacation and are back in your country remember if you do not use it you will loose it.
