Important Tips For a More Profitable AdSense Experience
When it comes to Google AdSense, there is nothing more important than making money, am I right? Well, yes and no. What is important is getting visitors to your website or blog, because without those visitors, you have no chance at all. Let me show you some important tips to make your Google AdSense experience more profitable.
As someone who has made money with Google AdSense for the past 5 years, I have quite good knowledge on what works, and what doesn't. I have made mistakes, many of them, and the first one was trying to make money from day one. It may be hard to hear this, but it's true. If you really serious about building a home based business with AdSense, you must first build up a network. When I say network, I'm talking about traffic sources, in the forms of Facebook, Twitter and Search Engines.
I use all three of these and a few more, but I don not pay for any of my traffic. Around 90% of my visitors come from Google direct. I also have a few pages on Facebook, and around 20 accounts on Twitter, all bringing in the next 10% of visitors. This is the first step, build up a steady stream of traffic to your website or blogs, and make sure they want to come back. You can do this in a few ways, tease them with some exciting news that will be posted in the next few days, and also update often, this will help with your search engine rankings.
The next step is to them add your AdSense ads. Once they are up and running, and have a steady stream of traffic, you should start making money quite easily. It can however take time to increase your revenue. You have to use the many tools on offer with your AdSense account, and make sure you filter out the low paying and non relevant ads, using the competitive ad filter.
I recently read a post in the AdSense forum, from someone who was not making much money. They had received almost 800 hits to their blog, and only made 1 cent. Now not to boast, but with almost 800 hits, you could be making 5 dollars. This person had not done their homework, and had a lot of work to do. Bad placed and non relevant AdSense ads was the problem. With a little bit of help, they turned their blog around in a few days.
