    • 1). Browse an online game such as Custom Cars, which is linked under Resources. This particular game does not require registration, unless you want to comment. However, you cannot save your creation.

    • 2). Click the Continue link to start loading the game. To find out what's new, click the Updates button to view Cars, Options, Music or Help.

    • 3). Click the Play button to display the main screen. Your car appears in the middle, with game preferences at the bottom and design options on top.

    • 4). Play music to accompany your game by clicking on the radio buttons at the bottom of the screen. You have a choice of several rock tunes.

    • 5). Choose a car, like the 1966 Impala, by clicking on the Change Car arrows on the left. Your selection drives into the middle of the window.

    • 6). Customize the design by choosing options near the top of the screen. You specify Button options, like Convertible or Trim, by clicking on one of the buttons. You set arrow options, like Color Change or Decals, by clicking a Forward or Back arrow. Each option in the list appears on the car.

    • 7). Click the On button under Engine View to customize the engine. A view of the engine fills the screen, and you can adjust things like the Intake, Radio Cap, Battery and Fuel Lines. Click the Off button to return to the car view.

    • 8). Click the Print button to send your creation to the printer. The only way to save your car as a graphic is to do a screen capture by pressing the Shift and Print Screen keys. You then need to paste your image into your favorite art program and save it from there.
