Renal cysts are small sacs or pockets of thin tissue that may either be filled with air, semisolid substances or fluids. These cysts are a type of kidney disease that can develop within the kidneys as one or several cysts. When one experiences any of these symptoms, the doctor will put them through an MRI or a CAT scan to determine whether the cyst is benign or cancerous. Simple kidney cysts that do not display any symptoms  do not require treatment. However, since complex kidney cysts produce a high risk of turning cancerous, these need to be treated immediately. The following methods are used for the treatment.

1.Surgery

In most cases, based on the results of the CT scan, ultrasound, and x-rays, the doctor has enough information to recommend surgery to remove part or all of the kidney. A pathologist makes the final diagnosis by examining the tissue under a microscope.

2.Laparoscopic Cyst Decortication

In this procedure, small incisions are made in the cyst and it is then filled with gas. This gets rid of the cyst and prevents it from forming again. This procedure is used only if the aspiration method fails to bring about positive results.

3.Hot Compress Therapy

Hot Compress Therapy develops on the basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Traditional Chinese Medicine, known as Chinese Herbal Medicine, is extracted from plants for use in the treatment of disease and certain medical conditions.Super-finely shattered, Chinese herbs can give full play to regulate and feed the body. Through Hot Compress Therapy, kidney cysts can be shrunk without any pain and side effect.

4.Drains

Drains  the cyst and may then fill the empty pouch with a solution that contains alcohol; this causes the tissue to harden and lowers the chances of recurrence. Scarring down the space within the cyst is called sclerosis.

5.Removal

If the cyst is cancerous, doctors try to determine the best treatment. Surgical removal might be recommended for getting rid of the cyst. After the surgical kidney cyst removal, patient will be required to take all possible precautions and follow the advice given by the doctor. Regular testing will be required to monitor the kidney function.

I  hope this article can help you.Though a simple cyst doesn't have serious repercussions on one's health, complex cysts can be a precursor to kidney cancer. If your tests reveal the presence of such cysts, consult a doctor to find out about the best treatment option soon.
