If there was ever a stubborn mind trick it would be the moment you begin to write your book then you get stumped, and find yourself staring at a blank piece of paper.
So how can a person overcome the stumbling blocks so often associated with starting a book? Easy, here is a simple, fast and easy strategy you can use to write your own book.
The first step I take is to come up with 20 - 25 main points, each about one sentence long.
Than I write 4 sub points to each main point, so 25 X 4 once I have that I pick a theme.
For example if I'm writing a book on travel, well then I associate that niche with traffic.
Police, construction signs, hard hats, etc.
Now I use the metaphors to help me write each sub point to my book.
If my main point is about the difficulties of traveling in foreign countries, than my 4 sub point metaphor might be; a police car, a hard hat, a stop sign and an ambulance.
I would describe each point and associate that point to the metaphor - picture -.
By doing this you are easily able to explain the challenges with travel in foreign countries to the reader, because you both understand the difficulties with being stopped by the police and given a ticket especially when you're late for an important meeting.
Or that you can run into obstacles like closed roads and detours, everyone understands those challenges.
Just write about the icons that are common to all and mix it in with your sub point.
This is a simple, fast and easy strategy to start and finish writing your book.
