Homemade snack mixes are something special. They are perfect to tuck into a child's lunch box, to serve at the beginning of any gathering or party, and they're great for a snack when you're hungry but don't want to make anything. These recipes can be changed to suit your tastes too. Don't like cashews? Use pecans! Don't like goldfish crackers? Use pretzels! Add more spices, or different spices, or different dried fruits.

All of these mixes should be stored at room temperature in an airtight container unless otherwise specified. They usually last three to four days, although most won't make it that long. Serve them in little cups or in a big punch bowl with a spoon so guests can scoop them into individual serving pieces. They also make wonderful gifts. Who wouldn't want some Curried Chex Mix to keep at their desk for a snack on a cold January day?

Enjoy these easy and delicious recipes.
