TGIF stands for Thank God It"s Friday - Or Does It
TGIF normally stand for Thank God It's Friday.
Today I would rather choose to say it feels like - Thank God I'm Forgiven.
The simple fact that I believe in God and His grace is an underlying power that helps me go through my process of forgiving myself when I screw up.
It allows me to know - not just "believe" - that there is something much more powerful than this single, separate body here.
It's how I "know" things when I'm talking to people.
It's part of the intuition factor.
It's part of the ability to choose to move closer to Freedom or away from it.
Knowing that in the greater scheme of things, I'm already free, I'm already forgiven, I'm already loved helped me accept that I've only to find my way to do these things for myself.
To find the source of the fear, the lack, that I carry which in turn allows me to release it.
Imagine being chained in a prison then finding that the key was actually right there in the prison cell with you.
You unlock the binding and walk away - free.
You're not going to go back and put it on.
That's how it is in life.
We have the key with us at all times it just takes some of us a while to find it.
Even then there are times we don't even want to believe it really is a key.
We're afraid to get our hopes up.
I have seen the vicious circle in myself and others.
I watch it day after day.
I keep going back to the affirmation based on the writings of Maryanne Williamson;

I keep going back to the affirmation based on the writings of Maryanne Williamson;
"I am brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous.As we choose to release the fear and embrace the Love, the FREEDOM we will find that our world will change and we didn't have to do anything to make "them" change.
I am a child of God.
I was born to make manifest the glory of God that is within me.
As I let my own light shine, I give other people permission to do the same.
As I am liberated from my own fear, my presence automatically liberates others.
