Indeed, I've just about had it up to here with the global warming alarmists.
Not long ago, I was talking to a brilliant engineer who told me that it was a fact that global warming was real.
It's not a fact, it's a theory, and if anyone tells you otherwise, they don't know what they're talking about, or they are flat-out lying to you.
Either way if someone is willing to do that, or too incompetent to know the reality, you should not be listening to them anyway.
Okay so, let's talk about this for second shall we? It seems that far too many people have signed on to the global warming religion, and they do everything they can to blow it out of proportion.
Some of the stuff they come up with these days is nothing more than pseudoscience, and connecting dots which don't exist.
It's getting out of hand, and what's worse is the media is trumpeting some of this nonsense, and hiding the real data behind climate science.
How can we possibly get to the bottom of this theory about climate change or global warming (mankind's CO2 heating up the ambient atmospheric temperatures of Earth).
Let me give you a for instance of just how crazy some of this nonsense has become.
The other day I was listening to a CFR video and panel discussion on a completely different topic which had to do with aging populations and innovation, trying to determine if there was a correlation, or there were challenges ahead for the US as our population gets older.
As the lecture was winding down, they had a question-and-answer session.
Someone actually brought this up as a question at the Council on Foreign Relations, and no one corrected her, they just let her make the statement; "what about climate change, I assume the increase in autism is also caused from Global Warming," and rather than stopping such a lunatic view they started talking about an upcoming world health conference.
One speaker in the meeting talked about chemicals, pollution, and environmental challenges effecting human health and causing disease.
It seems whatever happens in the world bad is caused by global warming, and anything that happens good is just plain luck.
Look, if you see a dead cat in the road, it didn't get run over because of global warming.
There are other things going wrong in our society which have nothing to do with global warming.
Perhaps someone was text messaging and posting some garbage on their Facebook page, or twittering to their friend "RUOK, LOL" and didn't see the cat, before they smushed it.
Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
