    • 1). Double-click your Access database file. This opens the database and loads the Access software at the same time.

    • 2). Click the "Create" tab at the top of the Access window. Click "Query Wizard" to start the query creation process. Double-click "Simple Query" to create a quick data access query.

    • 3). Click the table you want to use in the "Table/Query" drop-down box. In the list box underneath, select each field you want to view from the query and click the button labeled ">>." This moves the column from the left list box to the right. Click "Next."

    • 4). Enter a name for your query. Click "Finish." The query saves to the database and displays the query results in a datasheet window.
