What is a Hobby? A hobby is about investing in yourself. When we give too much importance to everyday chores and routine and neglect the things that renew us, it will ultimately lead to fatigue. It is common knowledge that the person that concentrates only on work, their personal life fails. And as a consequence usually, their professional life suffers, as well. Devote time to activities that lead to growth and rejuvenation. Spend more time on yourself and you will have more output at work and all areas of your life will be enriched.

Nowadays people hardly have time to relax and if you ask them about their hobby they will only point out some work and say that work only is there hobby, which is not right. But they don't realize that by getting more done by doing less is an old axiom. If one is not in the best shape mentally or physically, you cannot expect to perform at your peak. A hobby energizes You - A hobby brings you renewed energy and excitement. This will reflect on the rest of your activities. A hobby can spark your creativity. You are more likely to have innovative ideas.

Anything, even a machine, doing the same thing over-and-over again will, ultimately burnout. Thus break from the routine is very necessary to prevent a burnout. Hobbies result in personal growth whether it is professional or personal is immaterial. It doesn't matter what your hobby is, you will grow from it.

Hobbies keep your mind active; your spare time occupied and quite often produces something constructive. They also give a great deal of pleasure and enjoyment. Also, keep in mind that we all hope to retire some day and we'll go crazy if we don't have something gratifying to do.

As a kid I had this crazy hobby of making envelopes, bookmarks, greeting cards by recycling paper. I used to have a simple pair of scissors to cut shapes and designs and fonts to be used on crafts and projects of any kind. But now I have this die cutting machine with which different materials can be cut depending on the pattern and the machine being used. Various projects that a die cutting machine is used for include bulletin boards, cards and envelopes, scrapbooks, party decorations or making craft kits. This is for paper or board cutting. There are machines to cut fabric, leather and different materials too.

Machines have made life easy for us in every sphere. The die manufacturers should see to it that the machines are easy to use for everybody and are portable. For a layman it is difficult to use complex gadgets if they are technologically challenged. I bought myself one such machine and now I churn out more items like bags and purses, jewellery boxes, gift boxes, etc.It gives me more time to expend my creativity on ideas rather than executing them. They turn my visionary images into a reality.

It was the best gift that my husband has ever given me all these years. I am now planning to do some embossing on the items I am creating. I am looking for embossing dies which would make my job much easier and faster.
