Is My Marriage Over - My Wife Doesn"t Seem to Love Me Anymore, What Do I Do to Save My Marriage?
If you're wondering is my marriage over then you've probably got some real stress going on in your marriage, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that out.
But if you're feeling the tragic feeling of my wife doesn't love me anymore then you've really turned a corner for the worse, and I know that you're depressed.
I know because I've been there before.
And believe me, it's not fun...
but here's what I did...
How I Saved My Marriage When I Thought My Wife Just Doesn't Love Me Anymore...
Not too long ago my life was in a tail spin.
It was in a tail spin because my marriage was on it's last legs, making me constantly wonder is my marriage over.
It was heartbreaking to say the least.
I was up at night, usually laying on the couch, wondering how the heck I was going to turn this around so I didn't become another statistic.
I didn't want to fail in my marriage like everyone seems to be doing every time I turned around.
Besides that I loved my wife, and I couldn't imagine having to live away from my kids.
Yes having kids makes it even that much more difficult...
Things I Had to Do When I Wondered Is My Marriage Over...
First...
I had to truly evaluate the situation.
There were plenty of signs that said my wife hates me.
But at the same time there were just enough signs that said that there was still a twinkle of hope in the marriage, enough for me to work on saving.
There was no cheating going on that suspected (that would have changed everything) and there was still an element of caring there.
Second...
I had to do some SELF-EVALUATION.
It's easy to blame your wife and just say, "ahh she's screwed up in the head" and let it go at that.
In reality, I did think (know) that there were certain things that she needed to change as well if my marriage was going to be saved.
But in worrying with the question "is my marriage over" I was more concerned about what I could do to change what I was in control of.
So I came up with a list of things that would cause a spouse to not appreciate another as much and I realized that sure enough, some of the things that I was doing (and not doing) were enough to cause pain and resentment, so I went to work on trying to fix the most striking things that seemed to be making the most hindrance on saving my marriage.
Third...
I stopped arguing about the situation.
I was going to get absolutely nowhere arguing so why even try.
I wasn't going to change my wife's mind with words but with ACTION! I was going to make her SEE that I was changing and that I was worth loving again like I was.
This doesn't mean I was kissing her butt either.
I wasn't about to be walked all over, and nor should you...
but I picked my battles much more wisely.
Very soon my thoughts went away from is my marriage over!
