How to Polish Brick
- 1). Fit the polisher with the heaviest grit pad. The pad snaps into place using plastic fittings on most polishers and cannot be installed backward.
- 2). Spray the brick surface thoroughly with water. When complete, turn off the hose and set it out of the way.
- 3). Hold the polisher tightly by the handles, then pull the trigger. The polisher will want to turn counterclockwise, so you must hold onto the handle. This also allows you to guide where the polisher goes.
- 4). Sweep the polisher back and forth across the surface of the brick, allowing the weight of the polisher to do the work.
- 5). Release the trigger of the polisher, then switch the polishing pad to the next heaviest grit. Wet down the brick again with the garden hose, before continuing. Continue to work in this fashion, until the brick has been polished with the 1000 grit polish -- at this point you will be done.
