How to Unlock Tadakatsu As an Ally
- 1). Reach Level X7 in Story Mode. You need to impress Tadakatsu in all four parts of Level X7.
- 2). Escort the messengers to the escape point in X7-1. Defeat Lu Bu in battle once you reach the escape point. Wait for reinforcements, then defeat Masamune Date in battle. Do not allow any blue-clad reinforcements to be killed.
- 3). Escort all the peasants to the escape point in X7-2. This time, all peasants must survive. Defeat Lu Bu and his ambush parties again.
- 4). Rescue both of Tadakatsu's military units before they are defeated in X7-3. Defeat Lu Bu again.
- 5). Fight the weak version of Tadakatsu at the altar in X7-4. Defeat the second Tadakatsu who appears in the northeast part of the map. After you defeat Tadakatsu, battle and win against Masamune Date and Dong Zhuo within 2 hours of your Tadakatsu battle. After you complete X7-4, you receive a message from a courier informing you that Tadakatsu Honda is impressed. He agrees to fight alongside you as an ally.
