The Gift of Health
What greater of a gift could we give to someone than the gift of health? Does it sound impossible? After all, we cannot wish good health upon a person, can we? Maybe not, but maybe we can influence their improved health.
If we were able to help a friend or loved one feel better, what an incredible feeling for both us that would be.
In this article I would like to explain how we may be able to accomplish this.
I think that everyone will agree that we should exercise.
The documented benefits of exercise are numerous.
Some of the things that exercise can do for us include: 1.
It improves our mood.
2.
It combats chronic diseases.
3.
It helps us manage our weight.
4.
It strengthens our heart and lungs.
5.
Promotes better sleep.
6.
Increases our sex life 7.
Improves our balance.
8.
Reduces the risk of pre-mature death.
9.
Reduces high blood pressure.
10.
It can even be fun.
I could go on and on.
The benefits of exercise are huge.
Consider people we know who do not like to exercise or even purposely avoid it.
What are their reasons for this? Some of the more common reasons are that some people think exercise is hard and boring.
Granted, some exercise is hard and boring.
There are types of exercise equipment that can make a good workout a lot more fun though.
This type of equipment is a lot easier to entice people into using.
The Chuck Norris home gym offers an excellent and exciting workout.
It is so versatile that it makes exercise a lot more stimulating than running, walking, lifting weights, doing calisthenics or many other exercise routines.
The Chuck Norris workout machine can be easily placed in front of a television or stereo and can be used at several different levels to enhance or lessen the difficulty.
Another exciting workout tool is the Tony Little Gazelle.
The Gazelle likewise adds a great deal of excitement.
Especially while watching the videos by Tony himself, the master motivator! Exercise is addictive.
Once a person reaches up, gets over that monumental mental blockade and starts doing it, the benefits start to accumulate.
The fever grows and exercise can easily become a part of their life.
What a wonderful accomplishment it would be if we could get someone started on an exercise program! Just think, helping improve the life of a person.
If we could help a friend or loved one realize just one of the benefits listed above, we will have made a great impact and received an enormous level of self-actualization.
Can we give the gift of health? Maybe, maybe not, but we just might be able to influence it!
