What if I showed you how to get rid of moles in the garden and get your sanity back? If you are like thousands of homeowners worldwide, you have probably declared war on these pesky little creatures.
They aren't easy to get rid of unless you know how.
If you garden either for pleasure or produce, you know that moles can just about destroy all your hard work.
Have you ever spent hours and hours planting, cultivating and weeding only to have everything destroyed in one day? It's happened to me.
This summer I planted a vegetable garden.
My onions were coming up just fine and the whole family was so proud of how they were growing.
We couldn't wait to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
One day I went outside and discovered that my onion greens were turning brown and falling over.
I thought I had given them too much or too little water.
I noticed that it was spreading throughout my onion patch.
I bent down and pulled one out of the ground only to discover that half the onion was gone and looked like it had been eaten.
I then noticed that the ground surrounding my garden had become soft.
That's when I realized that my little garden paradise had been taken over by moles.
Now I don't hate any little creatures, but when they start to invade my space, then that's another story.
Gardening is hard work, as I'm sure you know, and the last thing you need is some little pesky mole eating all your vegetables and bulbs.
If you have ever tried to figure out how to get rid of moles in the garden, I'm sure you've discovered that it's not an easy process.
The only one in the family that can figure out how has been the family dog.
Somehow he digs them up and has so far gotten rid of two of them.
We have tried just about everything, the only problem is, more keep coming! I have read that they like grubs and if you have an infestation of these insects (actually they are beetle larva), you could also end up with moles.
I guess you could actually say that moles are then beneficial to your lawn by getting rid of grubs that can destroy your lawn, but the way they go about it, can be even more devastating and that is why most homeowners want them gone.
