Rotary Club Santa Clarita - Community Projects and Helping The World
I have been a member for one year now and I have seen amazing acts of giving and charity to others from the Rotarians.
Our club gives out many scholarships each year and also donates money to many non-profit groups here in Santa Clarita.
In addition, we do many hands-on projects where we go into the community and help those who are in need.
The Rotary Club is an international service organization.
There are over one million Rotarians around the world who each have the same motto - Service Above Self.
Rotary is about helping other people who need what others take for granted.
Rotary is also responsible for helping to eradicate polio around the world.
Being involved in my Rotary Club has changed my life.
I know that if I come to them with a project that is worthwhile, they will see that it gets done.
I have had the pleasure of working side by side with the most giving, caring people I have ever known in my life.
I encourage you to find a Rotary club near you and visit them.
Even if you do not want to join, you can always get to know them and see if you have some common beliefs and goals.
This organization is about so many things that I do not have the space in this article to tell you as much as you should know.
Many great people have been involved in some way with Rotary, including Franklin Delano Roosevelt and John Fitzgerald Kennedy.
