Blender

• 1). Assemble the blender jar. Turn it upside down on a flat surface and position the rubber gasket on the opening. Place the blade on with the blades inside the jar and screw on the locking ring.
  
  
• 2). Right the blender jar. Place the lid on the top. Lock the pour cap in place. Turn until it is secure.
  
  
• 3). Place the jar onto the base. Plug the base into an outlet using the power cord.
  
  
• 4). Add liquid ingredients to the blender first to aid in blade movement. All ingredients may be placed into the blender simultaneously, liquid first. Replace the lid. Ingredients may also be added through the pour opening by twisting off the cap.
  
  
• 5). Press the "On" button. Select the speed to begin blending.
  
  
• 6). Stop blending by pressing the selected speed a second time. Then select a new speed or the same speed to continue. Or, press "Off." This requires pressing "On" again to continue blending.
  
  

Food Processor

• 1). Assemble food processor. Place the work bowl onto the gearbox. Turn it clockwise to secure. Place the work bowl assembly onto the base. The handle may be in any one of the eight positions. Use the chopping blade for chopping, pureeing and mixing. Place the blade over the shaft. Push until it stops and is almost touching the bottom of the bowl.
  
  
• 2). Fill work bowl with the ingredients to be processed. Secure the lid with feeding tube at 11 o'clock. Twist clockwise until it locks into place.
  
  
• 3). Plug machine into wall. Place one hand on the lid to steady the processor. Press "On," followed by the "Food Processor" button to activate the machine.
  
  
• 4). Shred or slice food by placing the adapter stem onto the shaft. Attach the reversible slicing and shredding disk blade on the shaft on the desired side.
  
  
• 5). Lock cover into place as before. Feed food into the tube while the machine is running to slice or shred.
