Located about 15 minutes from Kings Island, along I-75, Cincinnati Premium Outlets offers more than 100 outlet retailers, including Coach, Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren and J. Crew. The mall is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Lindner Family Tennis Center

Located in the shadow of Kings Island, the Lindner Family Tennis Center hosts the Western and Southern Open tennis tournament also known as the Cincinnati Masters tournament, which is held each August. The facility features four permanent tennis venues, the only facility expect for the four grand slam venues to have more than two. The center court stadium seats 11,400 spectators.

Kings Island Golf Center

The Kings Island Golf Center, located in the shadow of the amusement park, features both an 18-hold championship golf (designed by Jack Nicklaus) and a nine-hole family course. The center is also home to a Senior PGA tour event and offers all of the features of a country club.

Soak City Water Park

A part of the Kings Island complex, the 35-acre Soak City features more than 50 water attractions, including more than two dozen slides, a tropical lagoon, surfable waves, five childrens' pools and a 650,000-gallon wave pool. Soak City is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and admission is included in the Kings Island admission price.

The Beach Waterpark

Located less than a mile from Kings Island, The Beach Waterpark features 35 acres of lush, wooded landscape (even palm trees) and an array of water features, including three pools, 11 slides and three childrens' pools. The park is open from mid-May through Labor Day. Hours vary by month.

Fort Ancicent State Memorial

Located about 20 minutes from Kings Island, Fort Ancient State Memorial is a partially-reconstructed SunWatch Indian village. The SunWatch were a mound-building culture, descendants of the Hopewell tribe. They populated present-day southern Ohio, southeastern Indiana, northern Kentucky and West Virginia from around the early 1st century to the mid-18th century.

The 764-acre park and 100-acre Fort Ancient memorial features more than 3.5 miles of earthen walls, a museum of Ohio Indian culture and miles of hiking and biking trails.

The Fort Ancient Site, a part of the Ohio Historical Society, is open Tuesday through Sunday from April through November and on Saturday and Sunday from December through March. Admission (2013 prices) is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors (60+), $4 for children ages 6-12, and free for children age 5 and younger. Discounts are offered to AAA members and members of the U.S. military and their dependents.

Historic Lebanon Ohio

The town of Lebanon, located about 20 minutes away from Kings Island, is a popular regional tourist destination. The town has a fine history museum, a historic downtown shopping districts with antique stores and art galleries, and a host of late 19th century Victorian-style homes.
