• Many couples capture countless images of their relationship on film. You can use these visual reminders of loving occasions to create anniversary decor. Select a couple of picture frames, and fill each one with a photo collage of some of your most memorable moments.   Alternatively, cut several photos into heart shapes, place them on red construction paper and create a delicate edging from lace doilies. Hang your creations on the wall in a style reminiscent of old-fashioned valentines.

• While anyone can pick up the telephone and order fresh-cut flowers for an anniversary, quality silk flowers last forever and are a constant reminder of your gesture months or years later. Choose a crystal vase, wicker basket or terra cotta pot, depending on your spouse's personal style. Fill it with an arrangement of her favorite flowers and a touch of greenery. Use it as a focal point for your anniversary decor.
  
  Create bowls of floating flowers and candles. Cut the heads off of several red roses or dismantle them and use the petals. Place the flowers in bowls of water with numerous floating candles for a romantic touch in any room of the house.

Carefully drape red silk cloths over lamps, being careful not to come near the bulbs. Replace your bedsheets with red, maroon or purple sheets for a vibrant touch of color. • Celebrities know the power of bling better than anyone. While you may not want to go as far as some when it comes to decorating for your anniversary, a touch of glitz and glam goes a long way to jazz things up. Scour your jewelry boxes for old ropes of gemstones and faux pearls that you no longer wear. Separate the beads and stones from their chains or strings, and distribute them strategically on tabletops for a shimmery effect that glows in low light. Glue any leftovers onto the sides of candles, so they'll pick up the glow of the flames while they burn.
