Ideas for Decorating With Candles in Glass Cylinders
Select medium glass cylinders and partially fill with sand, sea glass or small shells. Place a small white or pale blue pillar candle in each cylinder. Finish by tying raffia bows around the cylinders and hot glue several small shells to the "tails" of each bow.
Begin with tall, large diameter glass cylinders and fill half full with lemons or limes from the market. Add water until the cylinders are 2/3 full and place a single floating candle in each.

Purchase fine-mesh silver or copper screening and wire. Cut the mesh to size and wrap small glass cylinders. "Sew" the seam closed with fine wire in a coordinating color. Insert small metallic pillar or votive candles.- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Use dripless or beeswax candles whenever possible. Do not allow wax to drip onto items within the cylinder.
