If you must eat out, make sure that whatever food you order, try and get a healthier food option off the menu.
Also, see if you can have your food baked instead of fried.
This way you will get lower fat and less calories with your meal.
If your meal comes with condiments of any sort, try getting these as a side.
You will have much more control over what goes into your food! If this option is not available to you, just eat whatever you can and leave the rest.
2) Eat a lot of vegetables.
At every meal, you should make it a practice to eat as much vegetables as you can.
A good way to make sure of this is to divide your plate in half, and have one half covered with vegetables and the other half filled with lean meats or food high in protein.
3) Whatever you eat, make sure you trim off as much fat as you can.

You can go for walks, bike riding, jogging, roller blading, and go swimming.
Any exercise that raises your heart rate is considered a great exercise.
