Make a Silk Floral

• 1). Use the pen to draw five flower petal designs onto the silk fabric. The designs should all be similar in size and shape.
  
  
• 2). Use scissors to neatly cut the flower petal designs from the silk fabric.
  
  
• 3). Cut an eight-inch length of wire with the wire cutters.
  
  
• 4). Lay the silk flower petals neatly on top of one another.
  
  
• 5). Press the end of the wire through the center of the narrow end of the flower petals, twisting a knot into the top of the wire to hold the petals in place.
  
  
• 6). Pull the petals to the top of the wire so they rest neatly against the twisted knot. The length of wire that extends down from the petals is the flower's stem.
  
  
• 7). Tightly wrap the stem of the flower with floral tape. Multiple layers can be added to vary the thickness of the stem.
  
  
• 8). Arrange multiple silk flowers made in this fashion in a vase or basket to create a floral that can be displayed in the home.
